This horse has it all! Looks, super talent and a sweet disposition to boot! "Xander" (passport name Rainman) is a stunning black, 17 hh gelding who holds a passport issued from the Rheinland-Pflaz-Saar-International Association. His sire is Rainmaker who is by the accomplished German Warmblood stallion Rainbow.
This horse was born in March of 2003. He was started under saddle as a four year old. He is sweet and willing and has come along nicely with his training. He has good ground manners and no vices. He has been incredibly sound and healthy. He is ridden inside and out. He was trailered out last summer to small shows and other barns and ridden around to get used to being off of the property. He has been lunged over jumps as well and shows spetacular form. He will be started over fences if not sold, however, he "oozes" so much dressage potential that lately our focus has been on that.
** UPDATE: As of March 15th, Xander is now starting to jump under saddle as part of his reguar work regime. He loves it and shows great ability and scope. See 2nd video below.
He has been evaluated by two top dressage trainers in the area as having Grand Prix potential. He has a forward, uphill way of going and a huge amount of "push" from behind. His gaits are expressive with a phenomenal trot that is easy to sit. He rides "big and forward" and he is not for the timid rider. He is generous around the barrel and shoulders and will fill out a tall rider's leg.
He is light on the contact and stays round naturally. He is schooling leg yields and shoulder-ins, as well as learning to compress and lengthen his stride.
Xander has unlimited untapped potential. We hate to part with this one but need to downsize our herd. Xrays available.
