Xara Show Jumping WWHT 2008

"Xara" is a stunning 16.1 h, 6 yr. old dappled dark bay mare. She is regsitered with the PHR (Performance Horse Registry) and holds an USEA number. She is 3/4 Canadian WB and 1/4 Percheron. She was broke here at Platinum Farms as a 3 yr. old. She has started eventing this year at the BN level and has competed in a couple of the YEH classes as a four and five year old as well.
She has incredible bone and hooves and is very sound. A fabulous mover with a large stride and a big, scopey jump, this horse is athletic and has great potential. She is not mareish and enjoys being ridden in groups of horses so she would also make an excellent foxhunter. She will trailer out by herself anywhere, and has been schooling numerous times cross country and show jumping off of the property. She is confident down banks, over ditches and through water. She does not get riled up at shows and she will stand tied to the trailer all day if you give her a hay bag. Very nice to handle on the ground with good manners. She is sensitive and still needs a good rider at this point. Though she is in professional training as an event horse, this mare has the potential to go in any direction and would make a great broodmare as well. Sadly must sell, too many horses.
