You won't find many horses more stunning than Haiku with her steel grey coat and amazing presence. Everything about this girl reeks quaility and she is absolutely gorgeous! She is a homebred from here in CO and has been owned by the breeder her entire life. Her owner sadly is looking for a new home for Haiku due to personal health issues.
Haiku is selectively bred. She is by Dolany (Donnerhall) out of a Riverman mare. She is a big bodied girl standing 16h.
She is light in the bridle and has impressive gaits. Her canter is incredibly balanced, light and smooth to ride. Haiku is not "hot" at all but is sensitive to the aids and very smart and responsive. She prefers a quiet, relaxed rider as most mares do. She has a good work ethic and will try hard for her partner. She has an incredibly balanced canter that is light and smooth to ride.
Though she was bred for dressage, Haiku has proven to prefer a lifestyle that has some variety. She is very obedient in the arena but she is also adventurous and loves to go out hacking. She loves to jump, both in the arena and out cross country. She is not "mare-ish" or herd bound and is excellent venturing out on trail rides alone or with other horses.
Haiku is a polite giri and has the most perfect of ground manners! She is a pleasure to have in the barn and stands quietly in the cross ties for grooming, baths and farrier work. She trailers well and is a good loader.
She is good on turnout either alone or with other horses and stays out of trouble. She does not get overly attached to other horses. She is a healthy easy keeper and relaxed in the barn.
Haiku has not attended any shows yet but has been schooled off property and made a trip to FL this winter for some additional experience in a different environment.
This is a special mare that anyone would be lucky to have. If you are seriously interested and ready to buy, contact Rochelle via email or phone at [email protected] or (303)229-1081
