SOLD 7/16! CONGRATS TO KRISTA HENNINGSGARD OF HOUSTON, TX!
Palisade (barn name "Aiden") is a 2008 16.3 h, Irish Sport Horse gelding. He has lived at Platinum Farms since he was 2 yrs. old. He is sired by the ISH Stallion "Pallas Digion" of October Hill Farm. http://acornhillfarm.com/pallas_digion.html. His dam is a Dutch WB/TB x.
Aiden is very nice, sound, athletic sport horse prospect who has been started slowly and properly. He is a very nice mover with three excellent gaits. He has a soft mouth and is easy to bring onto the bit. He has a rhythmic, steady tempo and has a nice trot to sit and accepts the seat well. He has been schooled in the basics of dressage. He has shown at a couple of schooling Combined Tests and has always scored in the low 30's in his dressage test.
He also shows incredible athletic ability over jumps and exhibits a lot of scope. He has been schooled over show jump courses up to 3'6" and has the ability to jump much higher. He has also schooled over cross country jumps and has always readily accepted ditches, water and banks and thinks they are fun! He is schooling solidly at novice and has answered some Training and Preliminary questions as well.
Aiden has attended some schooling events and does well with the "hustle and bustle" of the show environment. He has good ground manners and is good for his farrier. He loads easily into the horse trailer.
Aiden is a very kind horse who is willing to please. Aiden is a slow maturer and would do best with someone who is not in a hurry to develop an athlete like Aiden who shows unlimited potential. X-rays available. Aiden had tie-back surgery in early October of 2014 and has made a full recovery.
Asking price: $20,000
This video was taken in May of 2014. These were all new xc questions for Aiden on this day. You can see his inquisitive nature and interest in the questions asked of him by the expression on his face. Since this video, he has had a lot more xc schooling, we just don't have any more current xc video than this. This was a very cold and windy day, but Aiden seemed unaffected by that!

The video below is of Aiden doing a novice dressage test at a Combined Test in September 2014. He has naturally good gaits. He scored a 32.
